The mod_pagespeed Apache module is designed to reduce page load time and improve website performance. It is developed by Google. We can install mod_pagespeed by request for the following account types:
- Managed VPS (non-Turbo Boost accounts)
- Managed Dedicated Server (non-Turbo Boost accounts)
If you would like the mod_pagespeed module installed on your server, please open a support ticket on the Done5 Technology Customer Portal at https://done5.com/clients/submitticket.php.
Managed accounts with Turbo Boost do not support the mod_pagespeed module. There are two reasons for this:
- The mod_pagespeed module only works with the Apache web server, and Turbo Boost servers use the LiteSpeed webserver.
- The LiteSpeed web server already includes the features of mod_pagespeed. Even if it could be installed on Turbo Boost servers (which it cannot), doing so would be unnecessary and duplicate functionality.
